My Day Planner for 2008!

O.k., just when I thought I was getting the hang of this, I got the photos in the wrong order...but you'll still get the idea!! This is the address section of my planner. I used baseball card holders, cut down to hold business cards and then made normal address pages.
This is the back of my planner. I love the stamp. The writing on the left side says, "oh, don't mind me. i am just trying on moods." The bottom says, "The power of a Girl."

This is the cover and I used all my favorite colors! and Lots of bling!

Inside pocket and a picture of me from this summer.

These are the week at glance pages that I did on the computer! Yep, I did them all by myself and am soooo happy with how they turned out! Looks very professional if I do say so myself!

How the months are sectioned.

I am hoping that this little book will help me stay organized, if it doesn't, it was really fun to make!

Bobbie is now a Basketball star...

Well, she thinks she is! She is having so much fun doing the whole Super Jock thing! She has made it as a floater again for the A and B teams for the Jr. High girls. She is 2nd to smallest and is one of the most aggresive players on the team. I think once she learns all the rules and doesn't have to think about them and can concentrate on her skills, she will be really good. A few more inches wouldn't hurt, but we'll take what we can get! The girl in the upper picture is Blake Greenup and the girl in the bottom is Rayn Dourghty. She rodeos with them during the summer and also rides against them at Barrel Club. They waved to each other and said Hi, but then became very serious players!
This is a picture of a canvas I made for Bobbie last week. It's a picture of Bobbie and Katie last summer. We lost Katie this winter and it's been really hard on all of us. She was a fantastic horse and taught Bobbie so much! They were a awsome team and Katie will be greatly missed!

O.k., here I sit trying to upload pictures from Christmas and New Year's and NOTHING is happening!! I get sooo frustrated with this whole blog thing sometimes!! I will try to figure out what is going on and get some pictures up soon!!
I have a New Year's resolution to blog at least once a week the photos that I have been taking and to actually try to "write" things other than photo descriptions! My 2nd resolution is to clean out my craft room and to get in there and start crafting again!!! My creativity is just trying to burst out, but I can't fit into my room!! Maybe that's the blog photo I need to start with. A "before" picture of my room and that will make me clean it up and get an "after" photo blogged! I think I'll go take a few pictures and give this blog uploading a break. Watch for new blogs soon!

Sometimes...

Beer and popcorn are the best dinner. Add a little butter to the microwave popcorn, a little seasoning salt and some Tabasco. Add a guinness and who could ask for anything more???

Night Time Activities.

Look at what my baby girl made for our dinner table display! How stinkin' cute is this?!! I just love her Holiday spirit and how contagious it is. I love her creativity. I wonder where she gets it from?? Look at my baby girl...not so much a baby, but a beautiful young lady. I am so blessed to have her as my daughter and cherish all the love and laughter she brings into my life. I can't put into words how special she is to me. We took these pictures tonight after we did the chores. She makes doing the chores fun!! Love you baby girl!
Boo-Boo even loves her too! It looks like he's going after her throat, but he just stood on his hind legs, wrapped his paws around her and gave her one huge smooch!!! He's the brother she never wanted!! I love that big old bear! He takes after his name-sake "Baloo" the bear from Jungle Book. He has that same happy go lucky attitude.

It's starting to look a lot like Christmas!

Bobbie helped me decorate the tree this year. She also helped with the other decorations, and is so excited to have them all up and out. Our home finally feels like a place to snuggle up with a hot cocoa and watch the snow fall and feel like we're in our own special place for the holidays.
I really love our tree this year, will try to get a photo with the flash off so you can see just how pretty it really is. Now I just have to figure out how to turn the flash off on my new camera!
Love all the little glimpses of Christmas here and there. I'm in the search of a tree topper and skirt to finish the decorations.
Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season and having just as much fun decorating their home and getting ready for the big day. Can't wait to spend it with our family in Bellevue and wishing that our other family could be celebrating with us!
