Beer and popcorn are the best dinner. Add a little butter to the microwave popcorn, a little seasoning salt and some Tabasco. Add a guinness and who could ask for anything more???

Night Time Activities.
Look at what my baby girl made for our dinner table display! How stinkin' cute is this?!! I just love her Holiday spirit and how contagious it is. I love her creativity. I wonder where she gets it from?? Look at my baby girl...not so much a baby, but a beautiful young lady. I am so blessed to have her as my daughter and cherish all the love and laughter she brings into my life. I can't put into words how special she is to me. We took these pictures tonight after we did the chores. She makes doing the chores fun!! Love you baby girl!
Boo-Boo even loves her too! It looks like he's going after her throat, but he just stood on his hind legs, wrapped his paws around her and gave her one huge smooch!!! He's the brother she never wanted!! I love that big old bear! He takes after his name-sake "Baloo" the bear from Jungle Book. He has that same happy go lucky attitude.

It's starting to look a lot like Christmas!
Bobbie helped me decorate the tree this year. She also helped with the other decorations, and is so excited to have them all up and out. Our home finally feels like a place to snuggle up with a hot cocoa and watch the snow fall and feel like we're in our own special place for the holidays.
I really love our tree this year, will try to get a photo with the flash off so you can see just how pretty it really is. Now I just have to figure out how to turn the flash off on my new camera!
Love all the little glimpses of Christmas here and there. I'm in the search of a tree topper and skirt to finish the decorations.
Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season and having just as much fun decorating their home and getting ready for the big day. Can't wait to spend it with our family in Bellevue and wishing that our other family could be celebrating with us!

Missy Foo-Foo's Halloween
Bobbie decided that she needed to do a Halloween fashion shoot with Missy. So she grabbed all of her Build-a-Bear costumes and went to work!
I guess Missy was rather "witchy" about wearing them together!
And Easter Egg Missy...
Last but not least is Tinker Bell Missy. She looks so cute and those wings remind me of her ears!!
Bobbie did a great job taking the photos and Missy loved all the attention and doggie treats!!!

Washington State Finals
Here she goes around her 2nd barrel at the finals in Oakanogan, Washington. The rodeo started on Friday night, a performance on Saturday and one on Sunday. We had to wait until this evening to figure out where she landed score wise. We got a call from friends and heard that she won the barrels for her age group and placed 3rd in the Steer Daubing.
At one point during the rodeo I went into the rodeo office to get Bobbie's jacket that she had ordered, and saw all of the beautiful buckles sitting on the table. The ladies working let me take pictures of all of them. I was hoping that Bobbie might win one! These buckles are beautiful and Bobbie is very excited to receive hers next weekend at the Junior High rodeo. Way to go Bobbie!!
Bobbie and David sharing a laugh between events. They have so much fun at these rodeos!!
Bobbie ended up 3rd in the Steer Daubing. David was hazing for her, but got out of the gate a little slow. She ended up with a 3.69 second time anyways!! She's excited about winning her buckle for the Barrels, but I think she's even more excited about receiving some money for her 3rd place. We let her keep half of her winnings to spend on what ever she wants and the other half goes into her savings account.

Happy 50th David!
Happy Birthday to you!!!! We went to celebrate the big 50 tonight at Hamely's Steak House in Pendleton. It was very good and we all ate way to much! We even had dessert and of course I thought a cup of coffee would be perfect with the Creme bru-lay(sorry, have no idea on how to spell that one!) and now I can't sleep!! But at least the pictures are getting up. The restaurant is decorated beautifully, and Bobbie thinks we should re-due our house in the same decor...well I guess if we start saving our pennies now...
Bobbie has David wrapped around her finger. She called him today after volleyball practice and asked if he would come get her because she wanted to spend the day with him, it being his birthday and all. So, he did. She even had the Correa tradition of having Hostess ding-dongs with candles for an early morning treat. She did it before I had my camera ready, so no photos of that. But David loved it and all the presents she wrapped up for him. I think the favorite was when Bobbie wrapped an old buckle she won last year and had written a note saying that when this years "all around" buckle came in(the one she won last Saturday at the Prosser series) it would be his. What a great way to say Thanks Dad for taking me to all of my rodeo's this year!!
I told David he better be telling people what a stud he is, him being 50 years old but married to somebody in her 30's. Well, for another year he can use that one.

Volleyball!
Look at the size difference here. Bobbie is number 6 and Kirsten is number 32, she's an eighth grader. Bobbie made it as a floater and plays in both the A and B teams. She is really diggin' the whole Volleyball action. She doesn't even complain when she has to wake up at 6a.m. to get ready for their 6:40 practice before school. What a trooper!
They all use blue markers and write all over themselves at the games. They consider it school spirit...I'm not sure what I think about it. Good thing it's not a Sharpie!!
Pep talk from Coach Scott.
A game at the Echo gym. Nice Bump Bobbie!!! Good form! Way to play! Did I miss anything?

Rodeo Pictures
Just going through some rodeo pictures and really liked how these looked. We have one more in Prosser, Washington this weekend. Then the finals for the Eastern division the last weekend in September in Oakanogan, Washington. The final one for the winter is in Ellensburg, Washington and it's part of the Junior High Wrangler division. I think we have one more barrel club and then that's it. Well, until next May! Happy trails to you...
The top photo was in Davenport, Washington.
This one is from La Grande, Oregon. This one too!
This One is from one of the Prosser series.
Love the look of pure JOY she has on her face. She lives to do this! This was in St. Maries, Idaho. What a pretty place that is. It was such a beautiful drive. Lots of water and tons of TREES!! Reminded me a lot of Bellevue/Seattle area, even the down poor on Sunday. ;)

Volleyball practice
Once again, a sideways photo, but since it was taken at 6:30 this morning, it kinda fits in! Bobbie came home from her first day, and as I guessed, it was all one word answers. Fine, hamburgers and the 2 new boys are not cute! The exciting news however, is Volleyball practice started this morning at 6:30a.m. She is trying out for the jr. high team. In her small school, whoever tries out makes the team, but they have an A & B team. It will be an adventure since she has never done any extra-curricular activities. Can't wait to go to the games and get tons of photos!!!
A picture of her going into the gym with Missy's right ear in the lower left corner from the inside of my Jeep. Off and running, so excited and me wanting to capture every minute. She asked me on the way to school if I was going to watch her first Volleyball meeting/practice. I had just thrown on sweats with no under-goodies on and hadn't run a comb through my hair, so I told her maybe tomorrow if she still wanted me to. It almost made me cry, that she still wanted me to go in with her. I also got a kiss good-bye in the parking lot and the "I Love you" hand sign as she walked away, soooo thankful for those open displays of affection!!! I know all to soon that it will stop when she's older and to "cool" for that. I will enjoy what I can get today and make sure I wear under-goodies tomorrow, so I can go watch!!!

First day of 6th grade!
I am trying to get her pictures done (ya know the ones...the first day of each grade) and she gets a text message from her girl Dally Sue who goes to school in Pendleton and doesn't start until after Labor Day. I can just imagine that conversation. I can NOT believe that my baby has started Junior High School. It just doesn't seem possible. How can time go by sooo quickly?
Just look at her though, she does look the part. She looks about 15 instead of 11. She had to make sure the hair and jewelry were just right. She would of really liked to wear some make-up, but that isn't going to happen yet. I keep telling her how pretty she is without it, and yes I know Mom, that you are sitting there giggling at that comment because you had to tell 2 of us that. And how it's all coming back to haunt me. But it just doesn't seem possible that I'm having to deal with all of that just yet!! Thank goodness that boys are not in the picture yet. I know it's coming soon and that her friends are starting to think they're(boys that is) are cute, but Bobbie still claims they're gross. I'll just hold on to that one for as long as possible!!
So, I'll be at home today wondering what to do with all the quite-ness and not having her with me all the time. Missing her like crazy, hoping that she is loving her 1st day of Jr. high and having fun with all of her friends she hasn't seen all summer. I can't wait to hear how it all went and I'm sure that when she walks through that door and I ask her about her day, I'll get the one word answers of: fine, good, no homework today and pizza (or whatever she had for lunch) and then I'll know that every thing went well and we're back to school as usual.

One Summer Afternoon...
Bobbie making Skip look beautiful. She loves to baby her horses. And what a beautiful day to sit out on the deck and watch her. I love the way she loves her horses and her dogs and her Mom and Dad. LOVE HER!
Taking a short cut thru the sprinklers and getting cooled off.

What can I say? Is this the movie star shot or what? Look at the sparkle in her glasses. And those lips... I have this photo as a 8 x 10 glossy on the fridge, and every time I walk by, I want to give those lips a great big kiss!!
o.k., if I could figure out how to rotate this photo, it would really show you her "all that and a bag of chips" attitude. I love her anyways!!! She will fit right into that Jr. high attitude, I just can't believe that she's a 6th grader!!!
p.s. Ronda, if you're out there, are we still doing a blog class/get together any time soon???? As you can see, I need the help!!!!!

more photos from the weekend
Here are the girls at the pizza place. Tristin, Bobbie and Briana. Such pretty girls.
Here is the gang hanging out in the shade a the Prosser rodeo.
Forgot to mention that Mom, Susie and Betty's cousin came to the rodeo for awhile. Canon and his wife live in Kennewick. Glad to see that he could make it over for a visit!
Gotta wonder what she's thinking with that look on her face. Wonder what it was???? Maybe it's best not to know...

Surprise!!!!
O.k., these photos aren't in any order ( i need some blog classes!!) but i need to tell you about our surprise this weekend. We went to a rodeo in Colville, Washington on friday the 20th. It was a night rodeo and was clear past Spokane. After it was done, well actually before it was over, we headed out to another rodeo in Prosser, Washington on the other side of the state. We pulled over in Ritzville around 1a.m. to get alittle sleep. We woke up and started to drive and had 2 flats on the horse trailer. Luckily Les Schwab was just opening in the tri-cities and got us in and on our way lickity-split! We made it just in time for the rodeo and the family who I knew was showing up. Mom & Dad, Annette, Micheal & Briana and Lee & Tracy were all planning to stay the night in Prosser and then head over to Toppinish on Sunday with us to watch Bobbie there as well. The surprise for us was that Auntie Susie and Auntie Betty were in the back seat too! They flew up to Seattle from California on Friday night to sit in the car and come all the way over to watch Bobbie rodeo! It was soooooo great that they could do that! We had all day Saturday to visit and watch the rodeo, when it was over we all headed to the hotel they were staying at and went for a refreshing swim. After cooling off, we all went into town and had pizza for dinner. Our friends the Trumble's joined us too. Their daughter rodeo-ed with Bobbie that day and is the same age as our girls. They had fun playing video games and talking while us adults sat and chit-chated.
Once again, not sure how to change this photo so it's the right direction, but loved it and had to put it in!!! On Sunday in Toppinish, it was tough enough to wear pink day. They do it to support Breast cancer awareness and do donations as well. It was great to see people in there pink stuff!!
Here is some of us trying to stay in the shade under the shade tent. We all would move as the sun did, but boy what a nice thing to have in the heat of the day!!
A picture of Bobbie running the barrels. She knocked this one down right after the photo was taken but had a great run. She did really well this weekend and we are still waiting to hear how her times held on Friday in Colville.
Thanks again to all the family who showed up and put up with the heat to spend the weekend with us. We love you all big and miss you already!!!!!
